The loneliness epidemic…

A friend of mine passed away last week. He hung himself.

Here was a guy who always seemed happy. He was the life of the party. What went wrong??

He prepared for this. He wrote letters to both his friends and his family explaining his reasons. But no matter what he wrote, people will still question "why" he did it, when he had friends who loved him and supported him until the end.

It's time for me to rant… About our pathetic government…

It's a gorgeous Monday morning. It was my turn to sleep in so that, combined with waking up to a delicious breakfast in bed and the sun shining outside, are a recipe for a fantastic start to my week!

I decided to head out to one of my local coffee shops for the morning, get productive in a social and pleasant surrounding. I parked my car, opened my door and was suddenly accosted by way too much lumo yellow for a Monday morning!

Pregnant, just quit my job… now what??!!

A few months ago, I was an extremely successful radio presenter and club DJ, I didn't need to look for work, it just came my way. I hardly ever worried about money as my salary always came in and the work was constantly flowing. But at the end of the year I made a decision to leave radio, not knowing exactly why but just knowing that it was time to move on.
